- Estimated Compensation: $60.76 - $74.85 per hour (negotiable).
- Type of Employment: Full-Time, 40 hours a week.
- Employee Paid Group Benefits Offered: Health/Dental/Vision.
- Paid Time Off per Year: Up to 80 hours per year, occurring on day one.
- Sick Leave per Year: Up to 56 hours per year, occurring on day one.

Summary of Duties
The Director of Nursing (DON) is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the nursing department within a healthcare facility. This position ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and the effective management of nursing staff and resources. The DON collaborates with medical professionals, administrators, and other departments to maintain excellence in clinical operations and patient outcomes.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Masters degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 57 years of progressive nursing leadership experience.
- Strong knowledge of clinical practices, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation certified, in accordance with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association.

Duties/Responsibilities:

- Supervise and manage all nursing staff and clinical operations.

- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local healthcare regulations.
- Monitor patient care standards and ensure quality assurance initiatives are met.
- Oversee recruitment, training, evaluation, and retention of nursing personnel.
- Manage departmental budgets and allocate resources efficiently.
- Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement and staff development.
- Address patient and family concerns, with professionalism and empathy.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
