Position Overview:
The school is seeking an enthusiastic and caring Early Years Teacher to join its Early Childhood Education team. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of early childhood development and be passionate about supporting young learners as they take their first steps in formal education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons that support holistic development and align with the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP).

• Create a nurturing, safe, and stimulating classroom environment where children feel secure, valued, and inspired to learn.

• Promote social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based and inquiry-driven learning.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine units of inquiry and integrate learning across subject areas.

• Maintain regular, constructive communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and wellbeing.

• Observe and assess childrens development to tailor instruction to individual needs and milestones.

Candidate Requirements:

• A recognized teaching qualification in Early Childhood or Primary Education (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

• Experience teaching early years, preferably within an international or IB PYP setting.

• A sound understanding of the principles of inquiry-based learning and child development.

• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.

• EU work eligibility is essential the school cannot provide visa sponsorship.

• A warm, collaborative, and flexible approach to working with young children and families.
