DeltaV Support Engineer

About the position

Job Summary We are looking for a DeltaV Support Engineer to provide on-site and remote support for Emerson DeltaV DCS systems in a regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment . The role focuses on system support, troubleshooting, change management, and lifecycle support while ensuring compliance with GMP, GxP, and data integrity standards . Roles and Responsibilities: Provide L2/L3 support for Emerson DeltaV DCS in live pharmaceutical manufacturing environments Troubleshoot and resolve control system, batch, alarms, and interface issues with minimal production impact Support DeltaV Batch (ISA‑88) configuration including CMs, EMs, phases, recipes, and graphics Perform and support change control activities in compliance with GMP / GDP procedures Participate in incident management, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) Support system upgrades, patches, backups, and disaster recovery activities Assist during FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, PQ , and site readiness activities when required Maintain and update technical documentation , SOPs, and validation records Coordinate with process, validation, IT, and quality teams to ensure compliant operations Provide on-call / shift support as per site requirements Technical Skills Hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS (v9.x – v14.x preferred) Strong knowledge of DeltaV Batch , ISA‑88 / ISA‑95 standards Experience supporting live GMP manufacturing systems Understanding of alarm management (ISA‑18.1) and change management workflows Knowledge of OPC, interfaces, historians (OSI PI preferred) Familiarity with CSV / CQV lifecycle and regulated documentation
