Key Responsibilities - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. - Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. - Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes. - Support the processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. - Participate in inventory accounting, including cycle counts and variance analysis. - Aid in the development and implementation of internal controls and accounting policies. - Assist with audits and tax filings. - Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel. Experience with cost accounting principles and inventory valuation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Bonus Qualifications - Experience with ERP systems specifically designed for manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics 365). - Familiarity with cost accounting principles, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation methods. - Exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance within a manufacturing environment. - Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their impact on financial reporting. - Certification such as CPA or CMA.
