Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products. Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify conformance to specifications. Document inspection results accurately, including non-conformances and corrective actions. Identify and report defective materials or products, initiating appropriate containment procedures. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and quality control plans. Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues. Recommended Qualifications Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Proficiency in using various precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify product defects. Experience with documenting inspection results and generating quality reports. Bonus Qualifications Advanced proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T). Experience operating and/or programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) or vision inspection systems. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency with Statistical Process Control (SPC) software or data analysis tools.
