Key Responsibilities Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods. Document inspection results accurately, maintaining detailed quality records and logs. Identify and report non-conforming materials or products, initiating appropriate containment and disposition procedures. Operate, maintain, and calibrate various precision measuring instruments and equipment. Conduct first-article, in-process, and final product inspections in accordance with quality plans and specifications. Verify product compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with production personnel to address quality issues and support corrective actions. Recommended Qualifications Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Prior experience in a quality inspection or quality control role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of quality control methodologies and relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001). Excellent attention to detail and strong observational skills for defect identification. Bonus Qualifications Experience with metrology and calibration processes. Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for drawing interpretation. Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Experience using Statistical Process Control (SPC) software.
