Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Code 14 Driver to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a Code 14 Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy-duty trucks to transport goods and materials to various locations. Key Responsibilities: - Safely operate a Code 14 truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations - Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition - Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and ensure the safety of the cargo - Communicate with dispatch to plan and coordinate delivery schedules - Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times - Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding vehicle maintenance and safety - Report any mechanical issues or accidents immediately to the appropriate personnel - Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment Requirements: - Valid Code 14 driver's license - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Code 14 Driver - Clean driving record with no traffic violations - Strong knowledge of road safety regulations - Excellent communication and time management skills - Ability to work independently and in a team environment - Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects - High school diploma or equivalent Contract Details: This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.
