Key Responsibilities Ensure reliable operation and uptime of critical IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and manufacturing-specific applications (e.g., MES, ERP). Provide timely technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues across office and production environments. Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and operational technology (OT) systems. Manage data backup, recovery, and disaster preparedness plans for all IT systems. Install, configure, and upgrade servers, workstations, network devices, and software applications. Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions to optimize efficiency. Collaborate with production teams to understand system requirements and integrate new technologies that support manufacturing processes. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience managing Windows Server environments (Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP) and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V). Strong understanding of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs) and cybersecurity principles applicable to industrial environments. Direct experience supporting IT systems in a manufacturing setting, including familiarity with OT/IT convergence. Knowledge of industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA, MES, or PLC connectivity. Experience with backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability solutions for critical production systems. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Operational Technology (OT) or Industrial Control Systems (ICS). Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) or ERP systems in a production environment. Knowledge of industrial networking protocols (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet). Understanding of cybersecurity principles for OT/ICS environments. Experience with virtualization technologies supporting critical manufacturing applications.
