Key Responsibilities Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Manage and optimize inventory levels to meet production demands while minimizing costs and waste. Oversee regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories, investigating and resolving discrepancies. Analyze inventory data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure data integrity within the ERP/MRP system for all inventory transactions and movements. Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing departments to align inventory strategies and forecasts. Lead, train, and mentor inventory control staff, fostering a culture of accuracy and accountability. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in inventory control or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and warehouse management systems (WMS). Demonstrated expertise in inventory forecasting, demand planning, cycle counting, and inventory optimization techniques. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions. Excellent leadership and communication skills with a proven ability to manage and develop a team.
