The Opportunity We are collaborating with multiple companies in Wyoming seeking experienced Demand Planners. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for finished goods and components. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, promotional activities, and other demand drivers. Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Supply Chain teams to gather market intelligence. Monitor and report on forecast accuracy, identifying root causes for significant variances. Provide key input to the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, highlighting demand risks and opportunities. Manage demand planning for new product introductions, end-of-life products, and promotional items. Utilize statistical forecasting models and demand planning software to optimize forecast generation. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations, or a related quantitative field. 2-5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling. Strong analytical and statistical skills with a solid understanding of various forecasting methodologies. Demonstrated experience participating in or supporting the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced planning systems (APS) such as Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or O9 Solutions. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) or statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python). APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Proven involvement in S&OP/IBP process optimization or system implementation projects.
