Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for finished goods and raw materials. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to refine forecasts. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather demand intelligence. Participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, presenting demand plans and insights. Monitor forecast accuracy and bias, identifying root causes of significant deviations and implementing corrective actions. Utilize demand planning software and statistical models to optimize forecasting processes and improve prediction accuracy. Assess the impact of demand plans on inventory levels, production schedules, and customer service. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and statistical skills with a solid understanding of forecasting methodologies. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional S&OP processes. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced statistical modeling or machine learning techniques for forecasting. Lean Six Sigma certification or demonstrated experience with continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with global demand planning processes and international market dynamics. Prior experience in a sales, marketing, or product management role.
