Demand Planner | Cadillac, MI Salary Range: $70,000 - $104,000 depending on experience Are you a dedicated professional with a passion for excelling in demand planner? The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Cadillac that are seeking skilled Demand Planners. By joining our network, you position yourself for opportunities aligned with your career goals. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for finished goods and components. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to refine forecast models. Actively participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand with supply. Monitor forecast accuracy, identify root causes for significant variances, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development to gather market intelligence and understand demand drivers. Generate forecasts for new product introductions and product discontinuations. Utilize demand planning software and statistical modeling techniques to optimize forecasting processes. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and statistical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork. Bonus Qualifications Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CSCP or CPIM). Experience with advanced planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra, Blue Yonder). Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement.
