Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for finished goods, considering historical data, market trends, and promotional activities. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather demand intelligence and align forecasts. Participate actively in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, presenting demand plans and highlighting key assumptions. Monitor forecast accuracy, identify significant variances, and analyze root causes to drive continuous improvement. Integrate new product introductions, product discontinuations, and promotional impacts into the overall demand plan. Analyze inventory levels and their impact on demand, working to optimize stock while meeting customer service targets. Utilize forecasting software and ERP systems to generate, track, and manage demand plans effectively. Recommended Qualifications 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced planning software. Strong analytical and statistical modeling skills, including advanced Excel proficiency. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related quantitative field. Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and S&OP principles. Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency in advanced statistical software (e.g., R, Python) for demand modeling and analysis. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification. Project management experience, particularly in implementing or improving S&OP processes. Familiarity with advanced planning systems like Kinaxis, Anaplan, or O9 Solutions.
