Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for finished goods and raw materials using statistical models and market intelligence. Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to refine forecast accuracy. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, production, and supply chain teams to gather demand insights. Actively participate in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align demand plans with business objectives. Monitor forecast performance, identify root causes for deviations, and implement corrective actions. Manage demand planning parameters and data within ERP/APO systems. Contribute to inventory optimization by providing reliable demand signals and managing forecast horizons. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in demand planning or forecasting within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and statistical skills for data interpretation and trend identification. Demonstrated understanding of forecasting methodologies and inventory management principles. Excellent communication and collaborative skills for cross-functional engagement. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced demand planning software (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra). APICS CPIM or CSCP certification. Proficiency in statistical programming languages (e.g., R, Python) for forecasting model development or analysis. Demonstrated experience in S&OP process improvement initiatives.
