Key Responsibilities Lead complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using methodologies like 8D. Develop, implement, and maintain advanced quality planning tools such as APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and Control Plans. Apply advanced statistical methods (e.g., SPC, MSA, DOE) to monitor process performance, identify trends, and drive improvements. Conduct and support internal and external quality system audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement. Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce defects, scrap, and rework. Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineering during New Product Introduction (NPI) to ensure quality requirements are integrated from concept to launch. Develop and deliver training on quality tools, methodologies, and standards to engineering and production teams. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated expertise in core quality tools including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA. Proven ability to lead complex root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys). Strong working knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100) and regulatory compliance. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency with advanced statistical software such as Minitab or JMP, particularly for Design of Experiments (DOE) and advanced regression analysis. Certified Lead Auditor for industry-specific standards (e.g., AS9100, IATF 16949, ISO 13485). Experience with data visualization and Business Intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Direct experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., Medical Device, Aerospace, Automotive).
