Key Responsibilities Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities for new product introductions. Facilitate Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and develop comprehensive Control Plans. Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) using methodologies like 8D. Develop, implement, and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) strategies. Champion continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance product and process quality. Conduct internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). Analyze quality data to identify trends, predict potential issues, and drive proactive quality improvements. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 5+ years of progressive experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) certification. Expert proficiency in advanced quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, 8D). Proven ability to lead complex root cause analysis and drive effective corrective and preventive actions.
