The Opportunity We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Hudsonville that are seeking skilled Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists. Key Responsibilities Process vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding and approval for manufacturing expenses. Generate and distribute customer invoices for manufactured goods and services. Apply customer payments to outstanding invoices and resolve cash application discrepancies. Execute weekly payment runs for vendors, including EFTs and check disbursements. Perform regular reconciliations of vendor statements, customer accounts, and general ledger accounts. Monitor and initiate collections for overdue customer accounts and resolve payment issues. Maintain accurate vendor and customer master data within the ERP system. Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable and receivable. Recommended Qualifications 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable. Demonstrated experience within a manufacturing or production environment. Proficiency with ERP accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel. Solid understanding of general accounting principles and meticulous attention to detail. Proven ability to manage high-volume transactions and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills for effective vendor and customer interactions. Bonus Qualifications Experience with a manufacturing-specific ERP system (e.g., SAP, Epicor, Infor). Basic understanding of manufacturing cost accounting principles. Experience with multi-currency transactions or international vendors/customers. Demonstrated ability to identify and implement process improvements in AP/AR workflows.
