Key Responsibilities Manage and optimize inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Develop and implement material planning strategies to support production schedules and customer demand. Oversee the entire material flow process, from procurement to warehousing and distribution. Utilize and maintain MRP/ERP systems for accurate material forecasting, planning, and tracking. Lead cost reduction initiatives related to material purchasing, storage, and logistics. Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality materials. Manage and develop the materials planning and warehouse teams. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of progressive experience in materials management or supply chain within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong understanding of inventory control principles, forecasting, and production planning methodologies (e.g., JIT, Lean). Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
