The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Walker seeking Maintenance Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of maintenance technicians and engineers. Develop and implement comprehensive preventive and predictive maintenance programs. Oversee the timely repair and troubleshooting of all manufacturing equipment and machinery. Manage the maintenance budget, including spare parts inventory and external service contracts. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies within the maintenance department. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality departments to support operational goals. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of progressive experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including PLCs. Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians. Extensive experience with CMMS and developing/implementing preventative and predictive maintenance programs. Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting. Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Bonus Qualifications Advanced proficiency in CMMS administration and optimization. Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent experience managing capital projects. Experience implementing and optimizing Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) or Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) programs.
