About the position
Responsibilities:
As a CDL Short Haul Driver, you will:
- Pick up and deliver trailer components and raw materials locally
- Load and unload flatbed trailers
- Verify and audit shipments for accuracy
- Strap and secure cargo properly
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Coordinate efficient delivery routes with the dispatch team
- Maintain clean and safe driving habits and equipment
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class A License
- 3+ years of flatbed driving experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred, not required
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Ability to lift, secure, and move heavy trailer components safely
