Senior Accountant

Our client, a well-established and reputable organisation based in Limassol, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and driven professional with experience in financial reconciliations, budgeting processes, and the preparation of management accounts.

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting financial planning and analysis across the business.

Location: Hybrid – Limassol 

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Financial Reporting & Analysis – Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Reconciliations – Manage and reconcile large volumes of data across multiple accounts, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues efficiently.
• Budgeting & Forecasting – Support the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing insights to aid strategic decision-making.
• Excel & Data Management – Utilise advanced Excel functions (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) to process and analyse financial data.
• Cross-functional Collaboration – Work closely with various departments to support financial reporting, planning, and operational decisions.
• Ad-hoc Tasks – Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by the department head to support the team’s objectives.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent certification. Candidates who are at an advanced stage of their qualification will also be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role, with a strong background in handling reconciliations, large volumes of financial data and budgeting.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience within the iGaming or PSP sector is considered an asset but not essential.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software is essential.
• Analytical Mindset: High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Communication: Ability to present and explain financial information clearly to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
