About the Opportunity
We're looking for a founding Design Engineer to lead the creation of powerful, user-friendly interfaces for LLM infrastructure platform. This hybrid role blends product design and front-end engineering, giving you full ownership of our open-source UI, a central hub for managing ML workflows such as observability, fine-tuning, and evaluation. Think of it as building the AWS Console for the machine learning era. This is a hands-on opportunity to design and ship impactful products in the open-source community, while also expanding your expertise into areas like distributed systems, backend infrastructure, or machine learning, depending on your interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and evolve our open-source interface from concept to production

Design user experiences and workflows tailored for technical ML users

Build scalable, modular front-end code using modern frameworks (e.g., React)

Iterate quickly based on feedback and usage, focusing on speed and polish

Collaborate with product, engineering, and ML teams to shape our roadmap
Requirements:
- Fluency in both design and code, from prototyping in Figma to shipping clean React components

Strong product intuition with a deep focus on UX, developer experience, and interface clarity

High attention to detail and pride in delivering elegant, fast, and functional UIs

A bias for action, you’re energized by building, testing, and iterating quickly
