A prestigious independent school in Bristol is seeking a dedicated and passionate Female PE Teacher to join its thriving Sports Department. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons across KS3 to KS5, engaging students in a variety of sports and fitness activities.
- Specialise in coaching girls' sports, including netball, football, hockey, athletics, or other competitive and recreational activities.
- Develop and implement inclusive and dynamic lesson plans that cater to a range of abilities and interests.
- Inspire students to lead active and healthy lifestyles, promoting teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship.
- Contribute to the school’s extracurricular sports programme, including coaching teams, organising competitions, and leading fitness initiatives.
- Foster a positive and inclusive sporting culture, encouraging all students to participate and enjoy physical activity.
Candidate Requirements
- Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
- Formal teaching qualification with QTS (e.g., PGCE).
- Experience coaching or teaching girls' sports at school or club level.
- Passion for sports education and promoting physical well-being.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
