Your Role as SENCO:

🔹 Lead and manage the SEN provision across the school, ensuring students receive high-quality support.
🔹 Oversee and implement EHCPs, interventions, and differentiation strategies.
🔹 Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and external professionals to provide a holistic approach to SEN.
🔹 Deliver staff training on inclusive teaching strategies and SEN best practices.
🔹 Support students' academic, emotional, and social development, ensuring they reach their full potential.
🔹 Engage with parents and carers, keeping them informed and involved in their child’s education.

Who We’re Looking For:

QTS and experience in SEN teaching (NASENCO qualification preferred or willingness to obtain).
A strong understanding of SEN legislation, EHCPs, and interventions within a secondary setting.
Proven leadership skills – ability to drive SEN strategy and support staff development.
Excellent communication & organisational skills – to collaborate with staff, students, and families effectively.
A passion for inclusion and supporting students with additional needs.
Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
