Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of Year 3 students, promoting both academic and personal growth.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and dynamic classroom where children feel safe and motivated to learn.
- Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and setting achievable targets for development.
- Implement innovative and creative teaching strategies to keep students engaged and excited about learning.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and ensure consistency in curriculum delivery.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, keeping them informed of student progress and discussing any concerns.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and other school events.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with experience in Year 3.
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum and effective teaching practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to supporting every child’s academic and personal development.
- Creative and flexible approach to teaching, with a desire to inspire and motivate students.
