You Will Be Handling These Duties and Responsibilities as an Account Manager

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, including RFQs, RFPs, and tenders.
  • Expand relationships with existing clients by proposing innovative solutions and additional services.
  • Negotiate and secure contracts that maximize profitability for the company.
  • Develop and maintain strategic, long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Prepare high-quality technical and commercial proposals tailored to client needs.
  • Track and forecast key account performance, including quarterly and annual sales metrics.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service delivery aligns with industry standards.
  • Conduct field visits and liaise with on-site teams when necessary.
  • Provide technical support to clients to ensure alignment with their production objectives.
  • Oversee budget, OPEX, CAPEX, P&L, and cash flow management for assigned accounts.
  • Support receivables management and maintain timely payment collections.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks while ensuring adherence to HSE standards.
  • Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering professional growth and motivation.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and support team development.

Qualifications and Skills That Will Allow You to Thrive as an Account Manager

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the Oil & Gas oilfield services industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of oilfield equipment/services and proven commercial acumen.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (both written and spoken).

Additional Information

  • Work Type: Office-based
  • Location: Tripoli, Libya
  • Work Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 08:30 to 17:00
  • Benefits: Health Insurance, Annual Bonus
