External Audit Senior Specialist (HYBRID) Makati | Hybrid | Monday to Friday | 3 RTO Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and driven External Audit Senior Specialist to join a professional services firm. This role is ideal for someone who can lead audit engagements, manage client relationships, and guide junior team members while ensuring high-quality audit delivery and compliance with applicable standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute external audit engagements in accordance with auditing standards and firm methodologies Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior audit specialists Manage client relationships and serve as a primary point of contact during engagements Identify audit risks, assess internal controls, and recommend improvements Prepare and review audit working papers, financial statements, and supporting documentation Provide timely updates and reports to managers regarding engagement progress, issues, and findings Assist in planning audit engagements and coordinating team activities Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred/required (adjust if needed) 3–5 years of relevant external audit experience Proven experience in supervising or handling junior audit staff Strong client management and communication skills Experience in reporting to managers and coordinating across teams Solid understanding of accounting and auditing standards Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
