The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of digital storytelling, audience engagement and YouTube channel performance. Responsibilities Edit long form YouTube content for engagement and retention Structure videos with effective storytelling and pacing Create thumbnails that drive higher click through rates Apply YouTube SEO best practices across uploads Review channel analytics and recommend improvements Adapt content into Shorts, Instagram Reels and TikTok videos Keep up with content trends and competitor activity Ensure all content reflects brand tone and quality standards Candidate Requirements Proven experience in video editing for YouTube creators or brands Strong knowledge of audience retention strategies Proficient in professional editing software Graphic design experience for thumbnail creation Understanding of social media content optimisation Self motivated with strong communication skills Experience with finance, education or business content beneficial Previous channel management experience highly regarded
