About the position

Our client, a well-known visitor attraction in Mellieħa, Malta, is seeking an experienced Barista / Beverage Server to join its food and beverage team. The successful candidate will prepare high-quality coffee beverages while also serving basic alcoholic drinks to guests in a busy and vibrant hospitality environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso-based drinks. Prepare and serve basic alcoholic beverages such as Aperol Spritz, Gin & Tonic , and similar simple drinks. Provide friendly and efficient customer service to visitors. Handle orders, payments, and POS transactions accurately. Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the bar and coffee station. Ensure all drinks are prepared and served according to hygiene and safety standards. Support the food and beverage team during busy service periods. Requirements Previous Barista experience is essential. Good knowledge of coffee preparation and coffee machines . Ability to prepare basic alcoholic drinks (no advanced cocktail experience required). Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Good command of English ; additional languages will be considered an asset.
