Job Position: Buyer Salary Up To RM5000 Location: Kulai nearby Aeon Job Descriptions: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for components and materials required for our products. Identify and qualify new suppliers and manage existing supplier relationships to ensure optimal performance and cost savings. Negotiate and manage supplier contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Quality, and Operations, to identify and address supply chain risks and opportunities. Manage inventory levels and lead times, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing inventory carrying costs. Monitor and report on supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and working with suppliers to address any issues. Collaborate with the Logistics team to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of components and materials. Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier and inventory databases. Participate in regular supplier performance reviews and annual supplier evaluations. Stay informed of industry trends and developments and share insights with the wider business. Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 0-5 years of experience in a Buyer role in the semiconductor industry, with a proven track record of delivering cost savings and supplier performance improvements. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
