Head of Process Engineering

About the position

Job Description: Lead and manage the Process Engineering (PE) team to ensure efficient and stable production processes. Analyze, design, and continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Optimize production layout, workflow, manpower allocation, and equipment utilization. Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Kaizen, 5S, etc.) across the production line. Identify process bottlenecks and implement effective solutions to improve line efficiency and output. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, etc.) to resolve technical and process-related issues. Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing process flow, work instructions, and line setup. Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as yield rate, cycle time, and productivity. Work closely with foreign experts to align on technical standards, process improvements, and best practices. Train and develop team members to enhance technical capability and performance. Requirements: Bachelor's degree or above in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields). Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Process Engineering, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial role. Strong experience in process improvement, line optimization, and production efficiency enhancement. Proven experience in manufacturing environments, preferably in wire harness / cable / automotive industry. Good command of English, able to communicate and work directly with foreign experts. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills. Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other continuous improvement tools.
