Job Title: Laboratory Assistant Primary Location: Bentonville, Arkansas Position Type: W2 Contract Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM-4:00 PM Duration: 4/13/2026 - 8/31/2026 Overview TalentFish is casting a line for a Laboratory Assistant . This is a contract opportunity supporting a laboratory environment focused on apparel-related testing and reporting . This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on lab work, test documentation, data analysis, and report preparation. The role will support senior laboratory staff in processing samples, conducting tests, documenting findings, and preparing results in a clear and accurate format. What You Bring to the Role (Ideal Experience) Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field Experience working in a laboratory or testing environment Strong ability to document, interpret, and report test results Familiarity with general laboratory equipment and testing procedures Comfort using computer systems, laboratory software, and data input/extraction tools Ability to prepare charts, graphs, and written reports Strong attention to detail and ability to follow defined test plans and data sheets Ability to read and interpret: Test data Measuring instruments Blueprints Schematics Wiring diagrams Operational instructions Exposure to or interest in continuous improvement concepts Strong communication skills and ability to work with technical staff and customers What You'll Do (Skills Used in this Position) Support senior laboratory staff in processing lab samples and performing tests Set up and/or adapt basic test equipment for lab testing activities Perform tests using standard laboratory tools and equipment Evaluate sample performance and test results for accuracy and completeness Record observed and calculated test data on appropriate documentation Read and interpret test results and assist in explaining findings Prepare charts, graphs, and reports to communicate test outcomes Review data and sample results with supervisors and laboratory staff Assist with routine maintenance and care of designated laboratory equipment and work areas Use available computer systems and software to input, extract, and organize information Learn to examine customer samples and operate basic testing procedures as instructed Communicate during setup and testing to ensure proper evaluation of samples Work closely with engineers and technical staff to support laboratory operations Integrate continuous improvement practices into day-to-day responsibilities Follow all required physical and digital security practices, policies, and procedures Compensation Information The expected salary range for this position is $15 - $18 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
