Senior Project Manager – Construction | Richmond, CA Energy & Resource is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Construction to lead complex construction projects for a major national energy client in Richmond, CA. This role oversees all phases of construction, mentors project managers, and ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Lead and mentor a team of project managers, ensuring accountability and project success. Oversee all construction phases: planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, contract negotiation, and resource allocation. Manage client and subcontractor relationships, providing updates and resolving issues efficiently. Ensure compliance with safety programs, construction standards, and regulatory requirements. Maintain project controls, documentation, procurement, and field operations aligned with company and client standards. Drive financial performance through cost estimates, proposal preparation, and proactive issue resolution. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Experience: 5+ years managing complex construction projects (MEP systems, renovations) and 3+ years in project controls, scheduling, and risk management. Proficiency with project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera), document management tools (Procore, BIM360, PlanGrid), and scheduling/estimating software. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Advanced computer skills: MS Office Suite, Adobe, Visio.
