Quantity Surveyor – Civil

About the position

Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Civil Project: NFE & NFS Project Location: Ras Laffan, Qatar Duration: 5 Months (Extendable) Number of Positions: 2 Job Responsibilities: Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and cost estimates for civil works. Monitor project costs and ensure budget control throughout the project lifecycle. Evaluate contractor bills, variations, and claims. Conduct site measurements and verify executed quantities. Coordinate with project engineers, procurement, and planning teams. Assist in contract administration and ensure compliance with project specifications. Prepare reports on project progress, cost analysis, and forecasting. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BE/B.Tech). Minimum 5 years of experience in building/construction projects. Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, cost control, and contract management. Experience in handling variations, claims, and billing. Proficiency in MS Excel and quantity surveying tools/software. Good communication skills in English. Working Conditions: 10 hours per day, 6 days a week Food, Accommodation & Transportation provided by client PPE/Uniform provided
