Port Operations Driver

About the position

Role Overview: Perform Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Port Vehicle Operator role in Belfast. This is a practical, hands-on position in a busy port environment. You will be responsible for operating port vehicles, managing freight and trailers, and supporting vessel operations while maintaining safety and efficiency across the port. Key Duties: Operate Tugmasters and other port vehicles to safely move trailers, containers, and other cargo. Support loading, unloading, and mooring operations of vessels. Direct vehicles and assist with traffic flow for both freight and passenger transport. Ensure all port areas are clean, organised, and safe. Follow operational protocols, safety rules, and company procedures. Work alongside colleagues to maintain smooth daily operations. Adapt to new equipment and procedures as required. Candidate Requirements: Experience driving large vehicles such as HGVs, Tugmasters, or agricultural machinery. Previous experience in logistics, port operations, or transportation is desirable. Full, clean driving licence. Strong focus on safety and procedure compliance. Reliable, adaptable, and able to work under pressure. Able to work rotating shifts and perform physical, hands-on tasks.
