Staff Accountant | DeWitt, MI Salary Range: $59,000 - $89,000 depending on experience Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for excelling in staff accountant? The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across DeWitt seeking Staff Accountants who want more than a lateral move. Key Responsibilities Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis. Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment application, and collections. Maintain and reconcile fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. Assist with inventory accounting, including cycle counts, cost analysis, and valuation. Participate in internal control testing and provide documentation for audits. Prepare various financial reports and ad-hoc analyses as requested by management. Support budgeting and forecasting activities through data compilation and analysis.
