The Opportunity We are partnering with organizations in Charlotte that are seeking Press Operator / Setups. Key Responsibilities Set up, adjust, and calibrate manufacturing presses for production runs. Operate various types of presses (e.g., stamping, forming) to produce components. Perform routine in-process quality checks and visual inspections of parts. Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues or machine malfunctions. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production specifications. Load and unload raw materials and finished products from machinery. Adhere strictly to all safety procedures and maintain a clean workstation. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating and setting up various types of manufacturing presses. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical work instructions. Strong mechanical aptitude for machine setup, adjustments, and basic troubleshooting. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers) and performing quality checks. Understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting.
