Key Responsibilities Set up and calibrate various types of presses according to job specifications and blueprints. Operate press machinery to produce parts, monitoring machine performance and output. Perform routine quality checks on finished products using precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or operational issues with press equipment. Load raw materials into machines and unload finished components, ensuring proper material flow. Conduct preventative maintenance checks and basic repairs on press equipment. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience operating and setting up various manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, hydraulic, punch). Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Strong mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting machine issues and performing minor adjustments. Adherence to safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout.
