Key Responsibilities Develop, program, and test PLC logic for automated manufacturing equipment and processes. Design and implement Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and SCADA applications for production control. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex issues in existing PLC programs and control systems. Perform commissioning, startup, and validation of new or modified machinery and production lines. Read and interpret electrical schematics, P&IDs, and functional specifications to develop control solutions. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams on automation projects and improvements. Maintain and update technical documentation, including PLC code comments and system configurations. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in programming and configuring PLCs (e.g., Rockwell Automation, Siemens) and HMI/SCADA systems. Strong understanding of industrial control systems, motor control, and sensor technologies. Experience with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus TCP/IP). Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex automation systems, electrical circuits, and diagnose issues. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field, or equivalent technical diploma and practical experience. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial robot programming and integration (e.g., Fanuc, Kuka, ABB). Proficiency in HMI/SCADA development and advanced visualization techniques. Familiarity with industrial networking protocols and IT/OT cybersecurity best practices. Knowledge of database integration for MES/ERP systems. Experience with vision systems programming and integration (e.g., Cognex, Keyence).
