Key Responsibilities Set up and adjust manufacturing presses, including dies and tooling, according to job specifications. Operate various types of presses to produce parts efficiently and accurately. Monitor press operations, ensuring optimal performance and product quality throughout production runs. Perform in-process and first-piece quality inspections using measuring tools and visual checks. Load raw materials onto presses and unload finished components or scrap materials. Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues or machine malfunctions to minimize downtime. Complete accurate production records, quality logs, and maintenance forms. Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workstation. Recommended Qualifications Strong mechanical aptitude for machine setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges). Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing environment. Prior experience operating and setting up manufacturing presses (e.g., stamping, forming, hydraulic). Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
