Key Responsibilities Ensure accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation. Develop, implement, and maintain robust inventory control processes and procedures. Monitor and analyze inventory levels to optimize stock, prevent shortages, and minimize excess or obsolete material. Oversee the inventory management system (ERP/WMS) to ensure data integrity and system utilization. Lead and train inventory control personnel, fostering a culture of accuracy and efficiency. Generate and analyze inventory reports, providing actionable insights for production planning and purchasing. Collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehousing departments to streamline material flow. Recommended Qualifications 5+ years of experience in inventory management or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for inventory tracking and management. Strong analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis, forecasting, and reporting. Demonstrated experience with inventory control best practices, including cycle counting, physical inventory, and root cause analysis. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field. Bonus Qualifications Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification. Proficiency with advanced data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). Experience with WMS or ERP system implementation projects. APICS CPIM or CSCP certification.
