Key Responsibilities Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) conforms to IATF 16949 requirements and customer-specific requirements. Lead and manage APQP activities, including FMEA, Control Plan development, and PPAP submissions. Facilitate root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions using problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D). Conduct internal audits and support external IATF 16949 certification and customer audits. Monitor key quality performance indicators (KPIs), implement Statistical Process Control (SPC), and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage supplier quality, including supplier selection, audits, performance monitoring, and issue resolution. Interface with customers regarding quality concerns, ensure effective communication, and drive customer satisfaction. Recommended Qualifications Deep understanding and practical application of IATF 16949 standard. Proficiency in AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA). Proven experience with structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, A3, 5 Whys). Certified IATF 16949 Internal Auditor with experience conducting internal audits. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field. 3+ years of quality engineering experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
