Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of finishing department personnel. Ensure all finished products meet established quality standards and specifications. Monitor production schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery of finished goods. Implement and enforce safety protocols and company policies within the finishing area. Optimize finishing processes for efficiency, waste reduction, and continuous improvement. Conduct training and performance evaluations for finishing operators. Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of finishing equipment. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing finishing operations, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or lead role. Strong technical knowledge of various finishing processes, equipment, and quality control methodologies. Proven leadership and team management skills, including training, motivation, and performance management. Demonstrated ability to implement and maintain quality assurance standards and continuous improvement practices (e.g., Lean, 5S). Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities to address production challenges efficiently. Solid understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and compliance requirements. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency with ERP or MES systems for production tracking and data analysis. ASQ certification (e.g., CQIA, CQT) or strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards. Demonstrated experience in tooling or fixture design for assembly optimization.
