Oversee daily fabrication operations and production schedules. Ensure all fabricated components meet quality standards and engineering specifications. Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices within the fabrication area. Troubleshoot production issues and perform minor equipment maintenance. Optimize fabrication processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and material utilization. Provide training and mentorship to team members to enhance skills and performance. Recommended Qualifications Strong leadership and team supervision experience in a manufacturing environment. Extensive hands-on experience in various fabrication processes (e.g., welding, cutting, forming, machining). Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Demonstrated knowledge of quality control standards, material properties, and safety protocols. Proven ability to troubleshoot fabrication challenges and implement effective solutions. Experience with setup, operation, and routine maintenance of fabrication machinery. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency with CAD/CAM software for design review and machine programming. Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies. Certified Welder (e.g., AWS, ASME) in specialized processes or materials. Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on fabrication equipment.
