Key Responsibilities Install, commission, and test manufacturing equipment at customer facilities. Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and software issues on industrial machinery. Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled service calls to ensure optimal equipment performance. Provide technical training and support to customers on equipment operation, maintenance, and safety procedures. Maintain accurate service reports, expense reports, and equipment documentation. Recommended Qualifications Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair skills for industrial manufacturing equipment. Proven experience (3+ years preferred) in field service, industrial maintenance, or equipment repair. Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic). Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a focus on problem resolution and client satisfaction. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively (often 75%+) to client sites. Bonus Qualifications Experience with advanced industrial networking protocols (e.g., Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP). Proficiency in a second language relevant to potential international travel or diverse customer base. Familiarity with SCADA systems or advanced PLC programming (e.g., Structured Text, Function Block Diagram). Certifications in specific automation platforms (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell Studio 5000) or relevant industry standards.
