Ensure finished products consistently meet quality standards and specifications. Optimize production schedules and workflow to maximize efficiency and output. Train, mentor, and evaluate finishing technicians on techniques and safety procedures. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs. Implement and enforce safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized work area. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, defects, or equipment malfunctions. Recommended Qualifications Proven experience supervising teams in a manufacturing finishing environment. Strong knowledge of various finishing processes (e.g., painting, assembly, polishing, deburring) and equipment. Demonstrated ability to ensure quality control, conduct inspections, and resolve production issues. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Understanding of manufacturing safety protocols and compliance standards. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency in ERP systems or specialized quality management software. Demonstrated ability to analyze production data and implement process improvements. OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety management experience.
