Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a team of fabricators in daily production operations. Ensure all fabricated products meet quality standards and engineering specifications. Coordinate production schedules, assign tasks, and manage workflow to meet deadlines. Train and mentor team members on fabrication techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during fabrication processes to minimize downtime. Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area. Oversee the setup, operation, and routine maintenance of fabrication machinery and tools. Recommended Qualifications Proven leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing fabrication environment. Extensive hands-on experience with various fabrication techniques (e.g., welding, cutting, forming, machining). Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics. Strong understanding of quality control standards and safety regulations relevant to fabrication. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize fabrication processes. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies. Advanced welding certifications (e.g., AWS CWI) or specialized fabrication techniques. Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems for production planning and material management.
