Key Responsibilities Direct and oversee daily fabrication activities to meet production schedules and quality standards. Lead, train, and mentor a team of fabricators, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Ensure all fabricated components comply with engineering specifications and quality control requirements. Optimize fabrication processes and workflows to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and control costs. Coordinate with engineering, production planning, and quality control to resolve issues and improve manufacturability. Maintain fabrication equipment and ensure a safe, organized, and compliant work environment. Recommended Qualifications Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role, guiding fabrication teams. Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficiency in various fabrication techniques, including welding, cutting, and forming. Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and quality control standards. Bonus Qualifications Proficiency with CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Advanced welding certifications (e.g., AWS D1.1, CWI). Experience implementing Lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen). Familiarity with diverse material properties and their fabrication methods.
