Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain industrial electrical control systems and schematics. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in manufacturing equipment and machinery. Ensure compliance of electrical systems with safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, OSHA) and company policies. Lead and execute electrical projects, including upgrades, installations, and new equipment integration. Optimize existing electrical infrastructure for improved performance, reliability, and energy efficiency. Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel on electrical systems and controls. Develop and maintain comprehensive electrical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and BOMs. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley) and industrial control systems. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems, machinery, and automation equipment. Experience with industrial power distribution, motor control centers, and variable frequency drives (VFDs). Strong understanding of electrical safety standards (NFPA 70E) and the National Electrical Code (NEC). Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial automation platforms (PLCs, HMIs, SCADA). Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. Proficiency in programming languages relevant to manufacturing automation (e.g., Python, C#, ladder logic). Experience with robotics or machine vision systems.
