Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and test electrical systems, components, and equipment for manufacturing processes. Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues in production machinery and infrastructure to minimize downtime. Lead electrical projects from conception to completion, including upgrades, installations, and system improvements. Ensure all electrical systems and practices comply with industry standards, safety regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E), and company policies. Identify opportunities to optimize electrical systems for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness within manufacturing operations. Develop and maintain accurate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel layouts, and other technical documentation. Provide technical support and training to maintenance technicians and production staff on electrical systems and equipment. Recommended Qualifications Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell) and HMI/SCADA systems. Experience with industrial electrical power distribution, motor controls, and automation systems. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for complex electrical and control systems in a production environment. Knowledge of electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC) and machine safety principles. Ability to design, implement, and optimize electrical systems for manufacturing equipment and processes. Bonus Qualifications Experience with industrial robotics or automation systems. Familiarity with SCADA, MES, or other plant floor data systems. Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification. Experience implementing industrial IoT or Industry 4.0 technologies. Proficiency in specialized electrical design software (e.g., ETAP, EPLAN Electric P8).
